SHELLEY BLOG # 2 WEEK # 2

La semana pasada, mi professor me dio mucha tarea. Hice siete paginas de una professora. Tambien, escribi´ los blogs. Estaba apresurada, porque yo a ir a Pamplona el sabado. Mi tarea ws muy facil. Tenia tarea, pero no la hice. Yo soy feliz porque tengo esta clase.


In Salamanca the pets here are so friendly. People usually walk their dogs without a lease. The dogs don´t bark at strangers and don´t snap at you if you pet them. The little dogs, are a little mean. Sometimes, they bark or try to get away from their owner. I also noticed that the birds here are not scared of people. Back at home, when you come close to a bird, they will fly away. But here, that´s not the case with the birds here. Over all, the people and pets here in Salamanca are more friendly than in the United States.


I find it so amazing that people in Salamanca dry their clothes outside. Nobody in Salamanca probably don´t even own a dryer. The Senora that I live with has a washing machine under her counter space. As a matter of fact, her house don´t even have a laundry room. Since I ´ve been here, I haven´t found a laundromat. But, I found various cleaners. I think that the people of Salamanca are so careful about saving energy. Most of them are so careful being wasting water. It is so important, that they don´t have public water fountains, not even in schools. Another fact, is when you go to a restaurant in the United States, when you sit down you are offered water and bread. Not in Salamanca , you must pay for a bottle of it. Although it seems weird, I think that the people of Salamanca are thinking in the future.
